My Friend Jamal - Tony Parker

William Anthony "Tony" Parker was born on May 17, 1982 in Belgium and grew up in France. His father and uncle were also a famous basketball players and thought he was originally going to play football, inspired by Michael Jordan, he decided to play basketball instead.

He plays for the NBA’s San Antonio Spurs as well as the French national team.

Even though he is 6 foot 2, Parker is considered small for a basketball player. However he is extremely fast and agile - he was voted in 2007 one of the fastest players in the NBA by his fellow players.
